Our Story
Geode Health was founded on the principle that mental healthcare should be more accessible, affordable and effective. The current mental healthcare system is broken. For our leadership, this is personal. Both in knowing there could be and wanting a better way.
From bringing together great leaders to drive this transformation to where we are today, a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services, our desire to keep mental healthcare accessible, affordable and effective and our Mission have not changed.
Who We Serve
We serve people. These individuals may have a mental health diagnosis or issue, but that does not define who they are. Our clinicians are trained to look beyond the surface. They may be a loved one struggling to cope, a grandparent longing for family interaction, a person trying to get through the day without anxiety at work, a parent striving to maintain stability for their children, an individual with unresolved trauma, or a child learning to navigate the stress and pressures of growing up in today’s day and age. We serve people, and a diverse range of people.
At Geode Health, we understand that each person is unique, complex, and beautiful. Our passion is to help people discover their own uniqueness, connect with their core selves, and empower them to lead richer, more rewarding lives. This philosophy is directly tied to the reason we are named Geode.
What’s behind the name Geode?
Each geode is unique. Looking like an ordinary, plain rock on the outside but beautiful, complex and delicate on the inside. It takes time and structure for the internal crystals to develop, and the inner beauty of the geode is only revealed by opening it to the world.
This is a metaphor for how we view our patients and each other.
